i am wanting to build go cart that will be used for cruising the logging roads around my house. the trails are really narrow with alot of tight turns and during the winter it can get pretty wet in the bottoms.
i will be using a lawn mower axle with the diff welded solid and a 21 horse v twin out of a troy built super bronco. im going to put a transmission out of an older snapper mower, change from a pulley to chain system and sprocket it low for hills. slap on some really wide 4 wheeler tires and have some fun with it. the only money i will be out is to build the frame. i have a cheapo summit poly racing seat to put in it.
now my question is on the suspension. should i go with no suspension to keep it simple and light then stuff alot of padding on the seat. or go ifs and use some coil overs from a scooter. i wanna keep the back end solid to keep it simple no matter what
