I broke my Dana 44 rear this weekend so am going to go Dana 60. I found a FF Dodge Dana 60 rear in the same size as my full width D44 front. It just seems like a normal Dana 60 however I remember reading a post somewhere on here of someone saying that a certain year(s) of the Dodge Dana 60 has some weakness to it. True?

AFAIK - a rear FF 60 is the of the same strength no matter what it came from.

Now A Dodge FRONT 60 does have some slight differences that may be weakness issues - so that is what you may be thinking of...

Just to be clear - I am talking about what vehicle it came out of, as things like spline count, etc. are differences that DO matter...
