I'm a 1911 fan but I cringe everytime my officers 1911 gets a new beauty mark, so I'm looking for something else to carry. I decided on the P40 since it's single stack and quite a bit lighter than my all steel 1911.

Will I be happy with my choice? I know it will take a while at the range to get used to the hinged trigger. All in all is it a good choice though?

Any concerns I should have?
