: Public apology to all those I've offended

(a) in the passage below you'll find that I have made up words..I meant to.
(b) feel free to delete this vent if it is interfering with the ultimate objective.

As many of you know I have very strong feelings about this environmental movement.

I have participated in as many things as I can stomach in order to help peacefully defend our sport and industry. I've also worked on my own project and got plenty of stuff going to then abort the whole plan as it was going in the direction of what some would call "illegal" and also:(

It is very apparent that the recent changes in the economy and the explosion of new govt funded environmental diaperization has really put our fun in the proverbial crapper.

I say many things that don't have truth behind them. I don't truely want the ubervironmentalist to die and or lose limbs. I'd rather them work with us on the preservation of natural beauty rather than selfishly taking it away to enhance their personal agendas.

Why wage a war on our soil over our soil? There are already enough people suffering abroad to keep us safe here that we really don't need another struggle right now.

I can't understand the conflict between the two groups. They truely enjoy nature and it's beauty ABSOLUTELY ANYWHERE THEY WANT TO and we enjoy the same thing except we do it in VERY LIMITED AREAS FOR MUCH LESS OF THE YEAR with a different form of entry.

We spend all our time on the defensive which is pretty sad for a predominantly republican industry.

Obviously we have made some headway in saving what little we're already down to. We are all somewhat reasonable/rational individuals and if we simply change our focus to some new way of making the same kind of money I'm sure you'll find joy in this just the same. Take the environmental movement.... set it on the back burner.... use your powers to take down the HYPHY movement. I'm positive you'll hate those folks much more than you hate off-roaders :) Think about it.... removing lifted cars from the streets! Impounding gold grills.... dodging thizzzz faces.... ducking pimp sticks. Sounds exciting right?

If you're an enviromentalist and are interested in changing your focus... PM me for details. I'll give you all the urban slang you need to take the hyphy movement down. While you're doing that we'll be cleaning the wilderness and getting the trails in order for ya.

I don't know if there was an apology in there so.... sorry to all the PBB folks fighting the good fight, and I'm sorry enviro-nazis if you've lost any sleep at night since our industry has taken a turn for the worse. Don't worry... I'm going to become a prius mechanic.. just for you :D I'll keep that thing running tip top :) I'll check your lug nuts and everything

Dude plans a marriage and goes all squishy in the head. :flipoff2:
(btw, I work with Marvin, and he can't believe you're getting hitched!)

I totally hear your frustration. Keep your sense of humor and this stuff all evens out... in the meantime, you can keep up your outreach to the quadruple amputee Sierra Clubbers, and I'll keep planning wolverine habitat out-placement. If those giggles keep us Zen enough to be effective... that's a WIN (effective can be letters, trail projects, bikini rig washes, or meetings).

Randii

BTW: mad, sad, or bad, you write damn well. :grinpimp: I don't say that lightly.

hahahhahah I seriously about cried when you made the wolverine comment. pure genious! In... just let me know when and where ;) I would delay my wedding to catch a brief glimpse of the outcome :D

this whole situation is like that horrible feeling of an itch you cannot scratch, you can't get anyone to scratch it for you, and its persistance is increasing. unfortunately you sit there and take it until it eventually goes away.

I'm not a believer in a supreme being, however I truely believe in karma and what these folks are doing to our nation is going to work against them eventually. when that day comes hopefully we're all there to laugh and point at their own personal hiroshima.

The whole "take down the hyphy movement" was just another ploy of mine to shorten their life expectancy as a whole :D It would be a bonus if they got something done there too, though.

Will you be doing the "Thizzle Dance" at your wedding?

Seriously SillyFabster you're a crack up. You're about to get married to a uber hot lady, throw on your "stunna shades" and start "ridin' the yellow bus". "Yadadasayin?":flipoff2:

I had a shitty week last week. Between the House NLCS vote and a kick in the teeth from one of the local ranger districts whose travel plan included no Over 50" vehicle trails....

....to this week, where I had great meetings with the Recreation person for the entire Flathead NF, the Recreation specialist on another RD, and the Rec. specialist on the district where we're re-opening 30 miles of historically closed fire/logging roads, building 3 new miles, and our sister club got a BFG grant!

Oh, and  we're planning some big multi-access events for the Flathead NF.
