I need a pair of front ford D60 inner shafts cut down and re-splined. Can anyone recommend someone in the valley?
Also, if you have a spare 99-04 ford D60 long side inner axleshaft, PM me, I'll buy it.

Not even worth it IMO. If you did that, you're 1/2 way into a nice set of inner chromos. I check into it about a year ago, you'd have to send them out and if anything it will make the shaft weaker. If the spline diameter is like my 95(pre-superduty) axle, they would have to turn down the diameter of the shaft just to spline it.

The stock spicer shafts even the non neckdown ones isnt the OD at the splines larger then at the shaft, then it OD is larger at the axle seal?
I dont think its an option, Just get cromo shafts made, or cut it and weld a sleve on it:flipoff2:

I ended up sending them out to Tri-county gear in Pomona, CA. Its going to cost me $100 each to get the shafts re-splined, they have half the wait time as alloy usa, and this lets me get my DD done faster and more on budget. I'll get some longfield CVs later. Here are some pictures of a 99-05 Ford D60 shaft.

Hate to tell you this but I'm pretty sure what you have there is a Dana 50 shaft. I would see if you can find a # on the axle and look in Dana 60 bible for the corresponding #'s.
