I am helping a buddy who just bought a 87 wrangler with the 4.2L six. It has never needed a smog inspection, now it does, the rig was modified: stock air cleaner removed and new axles without the vacuum disconnect. Still has the stock carb.
I tried to search, but can't find what I need. We got most of it figured out but there is one line coming out of a fitting(sensor/switch) on the exhaust manifold and can't figure out where it should go? Any body have a link to a photo of the stock 258 so we can try and match it up? or better yet where does this line go? Also we were told that an AMC hornet would have basically he same vacuum routing and we found one at the local pick and pull so he is heading down to pull everything he needs will this really be the same.
