: Help!!!!-East of Lodi area(Flag City) CruzrDave 07-15-2002, 06:05 PM (6pm Monday )My buddy is at Flag city(fire station) and his towrig blew up and the Cruiser is over heating(230 degrees). He is looking for a place to park his cruiser for a day or two. He lives about an hour south of Fresno and doen't want to chance the over heating problem. Post here if you can help out. I'll be getting a call in about 5 minutes from him. Big DW 07-16-2002, 05:46 PM Spent most of the day working on my Cruiser at my old shop in Sacramento...got home last night and checked the PBB and saw the post that a fellow cruiser head was broken down about 7 minutes from my house...took a chance that he still needed help and gave him a call...turns out he would have had to leave his cruiser parked in a parking lot for 2 days and 2 nights...don't know about you guys, but sometimes I just go out to the garage to look at my cruiser to make sure everything is okay...LOL!!!...really, I do!...I can't even imagine leaving my cruiser over night in a parking lot...so I call Jeff and tell him he can park his cruiser in my driveway...he sounds a little relieved...I meet him in the Penny's parking lot...I pull up next to him and we both smile...you know the one...the CRUISER SMILE!...he follows me home and we talk for a bit...he leaves me the keys incase I need to move it and then heads for home about 2.5 hrs south to Visalia...funny thing is, he knew he could trust me...just like I know I could trust another cruiser head if I were in his situation...glad to be a cruiser head...glad I could help you out Jeff... Bonus for me...first time I've had 2 cruisers in my driveway...time to get out the camera...:D :D | |
