: rod end ????????

Bought new rod ends for the BLUCRUZ but ain't got no zerks. Can I drill the end caps and put in my own zerks or will it carnage tha thangs.

The title and the question don't match. Do you have Rod ends or Tie rod ends?? There not the same!

get some TRE and be happy with a stronger more reliable end that gives you more angle of operation. Or just run what you have, I definatly would not add zerks that would definatly cause a strength issue

Come on man, would you drill a hole in an ungreasable Ujoint?? If they don't have the zerk they probably don't have a channel for the greece inside. What kind are they? Are they El-cheapo or what? Mine don't have zerks but they are chromemoly teflon lined(ie:self lubricating). If you don't know what you bought or aren't happy then send them back. From now on buy quality ends like QA-1 from a dealer. Check out racerparts wholesalers on the net <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
