Who lives in the mid willamette valley? What do you drive? pics? Usual spots to go wheelin? I'm over here in corvallis,OR.

I'm in Dallas. I drive a Samurai, favorite place to wheel is the jack stands. I used to go out past Falls City and Valsetz quite a bit but I hear Weyerhauser is crackin' down on all forms of fun these days. I have some buddies that used to go to Grand Rond but I have never been myself.

I live in lebanon, i drive a green '72 scout II with a big block, one tons, 38s, yada yada. As for wheeling theres not many places left to legally wheel, just some locals property and lots of snow play up on the santiam pass during the winter.

I grew up in Lebanon. Are people still heading out to that guys place in crabtree? I know it was a little iffy with the neighbors after those couple events...

Looks like devon and eds rides, they used to be my nieghbors before devon could drive. Nobody goes out to crabtree anymore that i know of. That and no more mudfest really limits the action around here, oh and weyehauser!

Naw I don't have any digital pics but I am currently working on:
1.8 vw GTI motor swap
boat sides
dove tail rear thats close to done if I don't change some things(probably will)
air bumps

It has:
2" YJ's under the axles
mini spool rear
12" Fox remote reservoirs up front
31" tires

I have a D60 and sterling 10.5" from a superduty that will be going in eventually.

I am in eugene. there are a few places to wheel but it depends on what you like and if you are willing to travel. I wheel a 76 scout and an 82 yota. check out http://ot4x4.org. they are eugene based but some guys are from corvallis.

I'm in both and are full of great people. And if your looking fo a place to play we have some places here in Canby and Molalla 3-4 times a month. Just check it out on the first one.

What a trip! I grew up in Lebanon and graduated in 1964. We used to Jeep and ride our bikes pretty much anywhere up there without a problem. We used to go to a small store called Snuffy'S in Crabtree to play pool and hang out. I have been here in California since I got out of the Navy in 1969. I Jeep all of the Glamis Sand Dunes and Rock Crawl pretty much everything that is open in so cal, az, nev, moab, some colo. we are losing more and more area all the time......you need to get together and support your people that fight land closures!!
