Transfer Case in NBS 2500LD [Archive]

I have a manual shift transfer case in my 01 2500LD. Is this a NVG 261? I would like to be able to be able to have both front wheel and rear wheel drive. I'm hoping that front wheel drive will make it steer shorter. Thanks.
