I am sure this is a dumb ? but I'll ask it anyway. I am in the process of stuffin a 97 vortec v6 into my toyota and I want to use a sm 465. Can I use the bellhousing off of the v8 blazer to mount it to the v6? Also what clutch assembly would I want to use. The tranny is from a mid-80's Blazer and the engine is from a 97 chevy astro w/ an automatic tranny. What ever help offered is greatly appriceated, so thanks

Just grab the bell housing that came with the tranny out of the Blazer. All the small block and 4.3 stuff is interchangable. Make sure you get a flywheel for the 4.3 to replace the flexplate though. As for a clutch, the hydraulic setup which should be in the Blazer would be a nice setup.

Hey MNSTER_FX can I take the fly wheel off of any gm v-6, like a carbed or tbi, or do I have to find one from a 97? Thanks
