I ruptured my steel tank on some rocks at some point Saturday. Finally got all the fuel out of it. This is the stock tank, 28yrs old. So I figure since I have to pull it, now might be a good time to replace it. I imagine the Polyethylene tanks would be much better for surviving a hit, I just wanted to make sure.
Any other concerns I need to worry about? Exhaust is routed out the back just like stock, but running a 351w it gets hot. Do I need to sheild the tank?
Tips? Concerns? Don't do this you'll mess it up?
