I Have Bought A 302 Fi With An Aod And A Borg Warner 1345 In A Jeep Yj. Is This Tranny Going To Hold Up To Trail And Mud Abuse, Or Should I Swap It For Something Else? I Dont Like The Bw 1345 Transfer With The Chain Drive So If The Tranny Would Hold Up What Other Transfers Will Bolt To This Tranny. I Am Familiar With The Chevy Stuff But Dont Know Much About The Ford Parts.
Any Info Would Be Helpful.

Its a heep with a Ford motor & tranny. I'm pretty sure everything else on your heep will break first so don't worry about it.

My bet is the AOD dies before the X-fer.

Build a C6 with a 205, then worry about axles...:stirthepot:

I agree something else would probably break on your trail rig before the tranny or t-case goes but would deff. bet that the trans would go before the t-case.
