Wow.. THAT woke me up.. on a slippery tree-root/rock steep hill, going up, and slid down into a hole dug out by a Heeper that tried to go before I did, and BANG!

Pushed the t-case/tranny/engine up about 1.5" so the water pump pulley was hitting the electric fan... of course, completely compressed the D/S at the same time.. I'm convinced if it wasn't a 205 case, it would have gone bang, too. (As soon as the axle was centered again, everything lined right back up! :D )

About 5 different winch pulls o get me on level ground, and some trail-side engineering using straps to locate the axle front/rear, disconnecting the rear D/S, and I was front-wheel driving it out of the trail and back home... a 25 mile or so drive at 25mph... and I thought the REAR locker was unpredictable!

I want to thank the man who thought of the military wrap.. it was holding the weight of the cruiser at the front of the leaf. But mostly, thanking the cruiser gods for letting me do the 8 hour drive each way to Tellico, running nearly all the trails there without major breakage, and allowing me to break close to home.

NEVER tell the S/O "Oh, we're just going to the local playground, I'll be home by 7, 8 at the latest".. 12:00 was when my dirty tired ass made it home.

Oh yeah... WANTED: 2.5" SUA lift springs...cheap :D

As long as you've got that spring pack off, may as well do the SOA. :)
