SOLD!!
'93-'94 Toyota 22RE motor with all the EFI components, wiring, smog equipment, etc still on it. Comes with a manual trans computer, wiring harness & dash from the donor vehicle, and a bunch of other wiring odds & ends.
I picked the motor up from a guy i've wheeled with who had it running well in his pickup, he had bought a 2wd pickup for the cab and the motor to swap into his solid axle rig. He did the swap, ran it for a while, and jumped the truck into a sand dune. He told me the air cleaner fell off, bunch of sand got in the intake, and motor stalled out. He then took everything apart, cleaned it all out, cleaned the injectors and tested them, and put it back together. But before he could get everything done, he found a turbo supra at a yard and stuffed that motor in. I bought the 22re as a core to rebuild and do an EFI swap on my rig, but circumstances have changed and I have neither the time or space to take on the project.
Basically this is a nearly complete motor with everything but the alternator and AC pump. I believe that all the EFI components are there, pretty much the whole wiring harness from the donor 2wd plus another bunch of a wiring harness from another EFI truck for spare connectors, etc. The motor does turn over smoothly, but I have never had is running, have never pulled anything beyond the valve cover (and that's clean inside), and would treat this as an EFI swap donor or a rebuild candidate. Again, the motor is pretty complete but I have not done a full inventory of every component so there may be some things you would still need for a full swap. This is by no means a plug-n-play EFI swap, but a good rebuild core or donor motor. Hence the OBO on the price. I am no expert, if someone does see something obvious missing let me know and i'll update this post.
$200 obo for everything, and you have to take it all. The pics only show the portion of the wiring that is directly connected to the engine, I have lots more wiring in boxes not in the pics. No shipping, local pickup only.
