hey. i recently put a borla catback system on my 96 tacoma 3.4 liter...the little hanger things where you put the rubber boots on to hold them on is touching the frame which makes the rattling noise..is there a way i can get it to hang lower so it wont touch and make the noise?which is annoying...

I'm not totally picturing what you are describing, but is there a way to get an old tire (which you could probably find one in a ghetto area laying in a gutter if you don't have one), get some heavy shears, cut some pieces of rubber from the sidewall to attach between the frame and metal to stop the sound? It might not be beautiful, but it'd be cheap.

Take a picture of it so we can see it, but why not just move it lower? Or move it farther from the frame?

ie: unbolt that hanger and bolt back on somewhere else.
