: Can I Fit 32" A/T's On My Stock YJ??

Got your attention..(putting on flame retardant suit)

I'm looking into Swampers and Swamper SX's to replace my severely tired 35X14.50 Boogers. What I'm having issues with is sizing. Does anyone have some actual measurements of these tires mounted?

Here is what Interco says:

38.5X14.50X15 SX 23/32 Tread 12.3 Tread Width 38.3 O/A Dia.
16/38.5X15 SS 25/32 Tread 13 Tread Width 38.2 O/A Dia.

How does the SS and SX sidewall compare to the Booger?


And YES, I DID USE THE SEARCH ENGINE!!! Just want more specific info, that's all.

The sidewalls are much stronger than mos BOOGERS I've seen.

My 38.5 x 14.50 SX's stand around 36.5 on 10" wheels.. :rolleyes:

I saw a set of half worn out 38 TSL's that were a good 2 inches taller than my SX's

Go Figure! :D

So how is the sidewall on the SX? Is it stiffer than a wedding dick or are you able to get some squish outta it?

They are softer then the boggers, mine don't start to flex until I get down to 7-8 psi...

Thanks Dude, that's what I needed to know. Looks like a new set of 38.5X14.5 squishy SXs for the old beater.
