I've got to decide on a flooring solution for the new garage, and like the idea of VCT tile. However, I've got an 8000lb Excursion, and am wondering if I'll pull up tiles if I turn the steering wheel while parked. Have any of you used VCT, and ever had a problem with them coming up or tearing?

As long as they are installed properly, i don't see a problem. I install flooring and as long as the right glue is used, you will rip the tile apart before you rip it up off the floor.

They are used in a lot of warehouses and such, and get driven on by forklifts all the time.

The best way to make sure the floor will last, would be to keep a good coat of finish (wax) on the floor. Most glues now are water based, so keeping the floor sealed and waxed will protect the glue.
