i just bought a land cruiser salvage yard this week so i do not know exactly what all i am getting but it is twenty years of cruiser parts. i will start halling parts to my shop starting next week. so if any of ya'll are looking for parts please send me a e-mail and i will see what i can find for you. there is 5 fj-55,1/2 of a fj-62,fj-40 tub with frame,fj-60 parts,motors from F to 3F and some three and four speed tranys, and much more.what all is there not sure? but you may be sure prised.

can you send me a e-mail with this and any other parts you may need.we are staring a list as i wright.i will not now what i have for sure until we get it all. but i did see a windo frame there for a 40. did you need right now or can you hold on for two or three weeks? i'm having to pick this stuff up from one spot and drive it back to my shop and unload it on my weekends. so it is going to take some time.

Do you have any FJ55 springs?

What all does the FJ62 have? I could use the tape player, and any good carpet if it is the blue interior, also any of the engines efi and electrical parts.

i got all the time in the world...my cruiser is a 78 but i believe many years are interchangable.

Got any pic's of 1/2 elliptic suspension? I'm very curious.....

the fj-62 is gutted, there are i think 4 full sets of fj-55 springs, and i do have pick of the rear of my bugie on film i will try and scan them so i can post it. i took the rear 1/2 elliptic off and went with 1/4 because i had to much flex i could take any one of the tires 6ft off the ground and still have the rest on the ground. i almost rolled on a 25dg off camber turn.just to flexxy. :)

HAHA I bet the 1/2 elliptical setup would've been wild.

How much do you want for all of the 55 springs?

You work at the cruiser shop in Austin right? I went there almost 2 years ago I guess when I first got my cruiser. You weren't there but your cruiser was...thats when it still had a SOA and 35s. The other guy there is like a restoration nut and kept telling me to put a 2inch lift on it and fix the body :rolleyes:...I'll let the rocks do the fixing for me:D

ya kevin loves the stock cruiser look and that is o.k.me i like the bugies and big tires with v8's. i must of been out of town or out getting parts. who nows.maybe i will see you some day on a trail.

I am looking for some fine spline birfields and inner axles to use as trail spares. If you have any i that will fit in a FJ-40 disk brake axle let me know.

good slave for a 40, and a 40 rear heater?

If you invert a spring, I understand why it's forced down easily but I really want to see a picture now? Did you justflip the spring over? You would loose any lift that the spring had and I'm very curious about this option...anybody got any pic's......

the fj-40 tub i think is in o.k shape some rust on the lower door panals and in the rear door jams.

i have pics of my 1/2 elliptical i just need to scan them then send it.man i tell you what a smooth ride and the flex just to much. as for ride hight you can use stock springs or 2 1/2 " springs like i did with over loads to help with the flex.you can set your ride hight at any hight that you want just depends on the springs you run.i had to find a set of shocks that were 36" long (i think may be longer?) i run cable straps to limit the down wards movment.i could take the cruiser all the way up on my lift (6ft) and still have the rear tires on the ground and the front 2 or 3ft off the groung the drive shafts would just start to bind not bad.

if i scan the pic can i just send then on a post to here or do i need to send them some were else?
