i will be building a durango on rocks soon. i need some information ? we have decided to use leaf springs in the rear and 4 link the front. where can we find lifted leaf springs for a 2000 durango. also has anyone seen one with a exocage. there does not seem to be room between the doors for a bar and im looking for ideas.
thanks for the help

Exocage can be done between doors but will need to be spaced away from the door. What size tire and front axle you plan to run? Fitting rockwells in a durango r/t right now. Good luck with the build!

I don't think there are lifted leafs available for the durangos, I've never come across any in my search. I'd just keep the stock one's, maybe do an add-a-leaf, and some blocks. If thats not enough, then you could probably get some 63" chevys to work, I've seen them fitted on just about every 4x4 there is. Good luck, and lets get some pics when you start too.

I am running 6" lift 52 or 53" on the front of my truggy. They work very well. Good flex, good stability. You don't want to run blocks with rocks.

There is a local guy here in Reno, SAMCO Fab, and I was going to link my front, and leaf the rear, and talked to him about it , his advice was to leaf the front for $$$ wise, and link the rear and avoid severe axle wrap, since the gearing is so low (6.72:1) and I am running a 4.1 Tcase so all that Tq. would twist up them leaves real easy...

post up pics whe you start...:D

I've seen a mall crawler on 1/2 tons and 44's, they used the leaf of a sqaure body chevy front and rear. But I doubt you want that much lift.
