Below is the festival and Race schedule for May 9th-11th along with General Information to help guide you through this long, fun weekend.

Racers need to be ready to race ONE HOUR before their start time. Check your start time at Racers Camp and/or URE stables. Be prepared for schedule changes, as racing could progress at a faster/slower pace.

NUMBER PLATES MUST BE VISIBLE FROM THE FRONT VIEW (BUMPER, GRILL, OR WINDSHIELD) OF THE VEHICLE
• As a general rule, your number plate determines your starting position, however there will be flexibility to this rule. You must race during your class time frame.
• Unlicensed race vehicles are allowed to drive on designated roads (refer to map for routes), as long as the A.W. number plate is clearly displayed from the front view of the vehicle. Any variation from designated routes will result in a citation.
• Please refer to the provided map for driving routes and race/festival locations.

*Racers are invited to stay at race camp.
*there will be 2 schedule boards for the racers to follow, 1 at race camp and 1 at URE stables...please keep an eye on these boards....and BE PREPARED!!

* The scedule was prepared with an allowance of 10 min. between rigs..but we hope to progress at a much faster rate.
BE PREPARED!!!

* we will send the first racer, once that racer is safely past ''Kodak rock'' we will send the next racer.

*every racer will carry a walky talky. It is very important that this radio be used to communicate ANY stoppage, accidents,or whatever, that may cause the racer to be stopped. You (your spotter)will be in direct contact with the starting line at all times during the run. Again..this is VERY,VERY important. We must maintain total knowledge of racers progress or stoppage.

*there will be flourescent yellow markers at every water bar(jump) that will warn you...also at places we feel that a visual warning will be affective.(not everyone can pre-run)

* The race line will be the same for all competitors EXCEPT for a couple areas. These areas will be properly marked with tape and/or orange cones.
*At KODAK ROCK...there will be 2 cones that define your ''line entry'' After the cones it's your choice as to which line you take.
You must pass between the cones or be disqualified. Hit a cone and you DQ! Dont worry...there is really only one fast line after you pass through the cones.
AS LONG AS YOU PASS THROUGH THE CONES WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM...YOU'RE GOOD.

*Racers will be responsible for getting their broken/stalled/crashed vehicles off the trail ASAP, SO AS NOT TO HOLD UP THE RACE.

*There will be a number of locations throughout the course that will be designated''Racer assistance stations'' These stations serve as back up only...if the worst happens, and you cant move you're vehicle yourself, RADIO CONTACT WILL BE KEY! All stations will have a radio.

* these stations are manned with VOLUNTEERS they are there to help you and the race move along. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CONDUCT YOURSELF IN AN INAPPROPRIATE MANNER.....DONT BE RUDE TO THE VOLS. BECAUSE YOU BROKE YOUR JUNK!!

* spotters are required to ''hook up'' the tow straps or winch cables, tell the tow guy when to go and stop, unhook and move on.(unless there is a yard sale type crash) then we will obviously adjust the way we clear the trail. RADIO COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!

**SPECTATORS***
Dont forget...You there are 2 trails that intersect the race course. You can use these trails to park closer to the action.
But they will probably be crowded. The early bird gets the worm, so find your spot early. There will be a couple of brief stoppages to allow spectator movement, but not alot. So BE PREPARED!!

*There will be a limited shuttle service available to and from Race and Festival. Rangers will allow parking on the main dirt roads, but it is limited to one side only.

*THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF law-enforcement officers cruising the rds. and festival...so be careful in every aspect of the word.

PLEASE..Be careful and have a good time and remember, your actions represent all of us.

Print this off and keep a copy with you, it has the schedule on it!!
Racer packets are coming soon!

Thank you, American Wheeler :smokin:

Will 38.5 swamper SXs be allowed in c class. They measure 36" anyhow:laughing:. I don't want to run my beat ass BFGs at speed w/water in them.

Can you confirm/deny what the course is? I plan on showing up Wednesday to pre-run/shake down the new buggy.

Or am I just going to have to assume its Rocky Mount Loop.
