Go prepared!
Moab in the summer is deserted, especially this year since it's hotter than normal.
I was out there over the 4th- I think there were 10 rigs in town, maybe?
Won't be anybody else out there with you if you have trouble.

Breakage shouldn't be a problem. Both trails are fairly mild and I ran them backwards and forwards when my TJ was still on 2" spacers and a d35. One tracklock carrier later and I pretty much know where to not drive stupid.

yeah the yota guys, and slagburn were pretty fun to go wheeling with but hopefully wont be as hot as it was over the 4th. I still had a good time though!

we are heading there the 30 or 31st. hangout for a few days, tear our shit up then head home. i am heading out to silverton [colorado]for about 10 days of playing in the mountians. then moab, we have doing this for our family vacation for the last three years and it has been a blast. mike

We'll be in Vail (45 mins from Silverton) 7-19 to 7-26 minus the 2 days in Moab.

should get there on the 20 in the afternoon and leave the 29 or 30th for moab. we are staying in south mineral camp grounds. mike

silerton is in the sw part of the state. between durango and ouray at 9000+ ft. elevation. there isn't any hard trails to speak of but it is the most senic place i have ever been. there are miles and miles of 4x trails throught the mountians. if you can fit it in your trip do it. you wont regret it. mike
