Anyone ever gotten overspray on their glasses? I'm afraid to just try chemicals 'cause I don't know what it will do to the lenses, so I'm hoping someone will have some previous experience.
Thanks

Tried that, it got a few of the bigger spots off, but there are still a ton of little spots that just won't budge.

Try that "mothers" clay bar cleanser for automotive finishes. Works pretty good on the truck.

Not sure about glass but I know toothpaste does a great job of removing over spray from auto glass without scratching.

brakleen... works on my glasses.... or use lighter fluid. just make sure you try it in the corner or something before you do the whole lense.

Take it in to your optician... they have good stuff and will steer clear of damaging solvents or abrasive. Mine has an ultrasonic bath that works wonders.

Lenses are some kind of plastic. Not really sure what type exactly.
Randii, that's a good idea, I'll do that. I'll also ask them what I can use in the future.

Pledge furniture polish and a cotton cloth. It's mfg. approved for cleaning plexiglass helicopter windshields. Your specs will smell lemon-fresh too!
Zippo lighter fluid (naptha) works too.

Avon (woman's company  ) has this stuff called Skin-so-soft, try that stuff if you can get yur hands on it, its kinda oily though (but not chemical), so wash yur glasses really good afterwards. also works good with removing the smell of 90w, and pine pitch.

if you are looking for a chemical that will strip damn near anything use machinists layout fluid remover ( but probably not on your plastic lenses as this stuff will eat plastic for lunch ) also use it outside or you will become very High :smokin: and your brain will shrivel to the size of a walnut....
