Keith 09-13-2001, 10:18 PM I would like em. Rob said there was something goofy about the mounting for the alt.???? I dont have a chevy background. My block and heads I believe are from a 74. What are the differences?

If you are talking about having the head tapped, as long as the heads are newer than '65 (assuming smallblock) you should be alright.
rockhog 09-14-2001, 05:08 PM Keith you can either tap the bolts or switch
to the older style brackets. They sell them
in the chrome section of pep boys, autozone,
summit, jegs. These heads will for sure wake
you sbc up.Let me know asap cause I need cash
steveh 09-14-2001, 06:35 PM Keith, Ryan's over at Folsom Chevy now if you need any thing. He'll take good care of ya, he knows your a good bud. If you get those heads he can dial ya in on any brackets.
BTW, thank god CJ was in that picture or it would of sucked! She's cute, you boys are just too UGLY <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
Keith 09-14-2001, 08:35 PM Right awn guys. Are the holes already in the heads, and all I have to do is run a tap in them? If so, no prob. I know the big long bracket you are talking about now, I just dont like those. But yeah, my motor does need a wake up. How much for the heads? $100. I heard someone is getting married and needs money quick, and a $100 gets you quick money!!!!!!!!!
rockhog 09-15-2001, 01:52 PM Keith, I need cash but not that bad! These
heads have less than 10miles on them! They
have been fully ported and have had a full
3 angle valve job done. Plus they have some new comp cams springs. These heads will bump
your stock comp ratio up approx 1.3 to 1.4
higher. I think that 250 bucks is fair. There
is more than that inlabor from the porting alone!
