Snagged this thing from my company's employee surplus auction, and 'Eidos Lowmaster 107' for 48 bones. The one listing i could find for it online said $810 !!

Either way, i'm pretty stoked. Thing is realllly comfortable.

They're alright, but plan on replacing the wheels and the cylinder. Also, be careful of gouging the surface of the cushion, once the outer layer goes away, it turns into little bitty foam pieces that stick all over you. Damn nice price, though.

alright, thanks for the heads up. what craps out on the wheels? the material, or the bearing?

edit: you're in wichita, and you've heard of these things....i'm gonna go on a limb and guess you work in the aircraft industry?

Paul,
I'm gonna guess that you work at Lockheed?
I snagged a few good items at the same sale. I got the Burrking sander they had. $157, but it does need a few parts.

Sure do. I threw in a few other bids, didn't really care about most of em, but I did want one of the work tables and that box of cobra CB's

The rubber shreds off, or comes loose and rolls up ahead of the wheel, so to speak. I work in the aircraft industry. I'm on those creepers several times a week. I really like their "butt-buggys", but they have the same issues.

Edit: I will say we have rebuilt all of our stuff several times over the last 6 years, so the parts are readily available to do so, which is nice. Depending on how much you use it, this might not even be an issue.
