I am putting up my 92 one ton yj for sale. Times have changed, and the jeep sees little to no use. I had put it up for sale in 2004, but I wasn't really ready to part with it. However, 4 years later and only about 600 miles down the road, it has got to go. I have not had any problems with the jeep, and drive it to work on nice days. However, I will be moving away to attend grad school, and can not take it with me. Please feel free to ask any questions. NEW PRICE 9,000 CLAMS if a deal is struck this week
-1992 black jeep 82,700 miles
-4.0, ax15 tanny, and 231 with slip yoke and long travel drive line.
-dana 60 front, 4:88's, arb locker, 35 spline inners, dutchman axle
-dana 70 U rear, 4:88's, 35 spline, and detroit locker (had the detroit professionally installed no more than 200 miles ago
-Hydro assist steering
-40 inch TSL's on trail ready MT Classic II Beadlocks. (tires and rims are in good shape, no rock rash)
-brand new 38.5 sx with matching trailready rim for spare.
-spring over with waggy springs in the rear, and rancho 44044's in the front.
-flowmaster muffler
-avalanche engineering rocker gaurds
-stinger front bumber, with winch plate
-stinger rear bumper tire carrier
-rocklights front and rear
-6 point cage inside
-full hard top, with full hard doors.
-interior is all stock, and in good shape.
-flat fendered front, with extended tj flares front and rear
-high steer arms with one ton tie rod
-extended shock towers with dual shock set up in front
-JKS quick disconnects
-the long side of the front was cut down 4 inches to match the rear, and it also has two inch aluminum spacers (one per side)if you want it wider.
Problems (going to be honest)
-The original doors were stolen (damn thieves) and I purchased another set. However, doors were damaged in shipping, drivers is dented, and passanger mirror was broken, but are still more than usable.
-windshield has hairline crack
-no ebrake
-cage needs to be connected and bolted to frame
Since it was built, i drove it from northern cal to southern cal, and it has sat in the driveway collecting dust. As for being street legal, I have driven all over California, with little to no hassle from the law. It drives decently well for having 1 ton terrain and 40 inch tires, one tire has developed a flat spot from sitting, however it should go away.
Asking price: $10,000 obo
May be willing to do partial trade for street legal bike/super moto.
