Quick run around the block, shifts later and harder. I can now get all the gears with the new B&M cable. And Low is Low :cool: Went for a spin in 4-Lo, went from first to third in about 100'. Put it in first and crawled.

Now I need to finish the cooling, cage, and a couple of other items.

My priority this weekend is having a legal (up to date tags)
vehicle. So I can reliably get to work so I can reliably keep my job so I can go wheeling in the future.

If I lose my job because I can't get to work.

I will have to volunteer as a campground host someplace.

The one in Watsonville ripped me a new one last time:eek: BUT.... I did just find Dietrich's Iron Works here in SCREWZ. I got a killer deal on 15' of 2x2x1/4" trailer hitch material ($17) I should be able to at least do a bumper, but I'm not sure if I can finish the rear sliders in time:( . She may bleed......

Well I drove the Scout to work today. That's a start, still need to finish the shroud and bolt in the cage. Plus some general mait, it's going to be a long day :rolleyes: But I'll be fawk'n ready.

Now that I don't have a slippy tranny the lack of gears is really showing (3.73's), next project 4.56 or 4.27. Plus a detroit or maybe an ARB up front.

She shifts nice and firm and quick, not like the old worn out maybe I'll think about shifting tranny. May it RIP it served well.

Not a huge amount. There still some cage stuff to finish after the run ... long story.. I'll let him tell it around a camp fire with some :beer: :D Other than that when I left it needs some grinding and thats really about it other than needing brakes. I don't think we'll hear much from him today I think he's busy :D
