In tank fuel pump upgrade. I'm using a 2001 Blazer S10 fuel tank with my LQ9 6.0 Gen III motor and need to get a high flow In tank pump.
What pump fits the stock location and I don't want to go external.

hmmm

intuitive thought process:

1: go to chevy dealer. compare GTO/corvette/lq9 pump to s10 pump. get pump part number.

2: go to local parts store purchase pump at lower rate.

non-intuitive thought process:

1. ask pirate guys, they know everything.
2. get bad advice, *(not that it was intentional, but it happens... if you look at Odink30's thread on front suspension setup, you see that 8 of 26 have no clue of suspension design and advocate a poor design over a proven design. )
3. buy wrong pump, and since its an electrical item, its not returnable.
4. take it like a man, in prison.
5. go to gm dealership, compare pumps
6. purchase correct pump at local parts store for a lower price.

that should give you an idea.

I just purchased a higher flow fuel pump for a 1990 K-5 blazer. Part number 25116163 for $99 from a dealer. Not sure if this is what you need but the pump has a the ability to run 750 cfm multiport EFI system on a SB chevy motor.
