wassup guys ive been looking on the market for a 79-87 fullsize chevy. i want to make this into a rock krawler. it will be daily driven and i dont want to go bigger then 35-36's. what lift should i get and how many inches. i want it to be able to flex pretty good. is there anything i should know or is there anything else i should get (shakle flip, etc)

why only 79-87? you are missing 6 years of truck that would come with better axles.
why just a 10? do you want a swb only? a 3/4 or 1 would get you much better axles and better odds of getting a 465/205 or a 400/205.

you need at least 40's with a fullsize. get what you want k10/20/30 (k30 has a D60 front), add D60 front with an arb locker, D60 or 14FF rear with a detroit locker. put a doubler in it. crossover steering. move the front axle forward 4" to help clear the rear of the fender / cab. upgrade the D60 with 35 spline outer stub shafts. 6" lift and sawzall the fenders for clearance. 1410 high angle long spline driveshaft in front. be sure to do a track/panhard bar on the front and anti-wrap bar on the rear. easy enough?:flipoff2:
