usually, when i want a price quote, i'll call the place(s) of business i am considering using the services of. they will often give you a more accurate price estimate than asking random people what they paid.

also, i realize that you're fishing for ideas based on your asking for pictures, but the cost of building a linked setup greatly depends on what parts you intend to use. what kind of rod ends are you planning on using? tractor joints? heims? johnny joints? link material? aluminum? cromo? DOM? pipe? etc. get the idea? these will all change the cost of your setup.

this site has enough information to rival that of a library. everything you asked for has already been covered countless times. do some searching, and you will learn more than you need to know.

and by the way, i'm your daddy.

thanks 4 the info that is what i wanted to know break down of the parts ,
but what about the labor costs just the labor . what would be the going rate 4 labor only . I see where some of the material/ joints used would play a big factor in cost .

Like he said call the place(s) you are thinking of having do the work. Labor rates can vary drastically for anything, location, overhead, reputation. I know I'm a newb but jezz. Doesn't sound to hardcore to me.:shaking:

ive seen really shitty backwoods shops charge as little as $600 and better know shops (that take pride in there work) charge close to $3000. this is for labor, and it depends on if they are making the brackets or welding on prefabed ones, because that will make a huge difference how long it takes.

The going labor rate is 75-100 per hour. Most good link ends will run around 60-100 per end. Start adding.

Low end 5k

High end 8k.

Parts included. Difference is primarily based on what components you use. Coil over brands can see a variance of nearly 1000$ alone.

Mine is in the shop now and the estimate I had with parts was 3,400 and included stretching the wheelbase. I won't say what shop though but will say they are highly regarded.

$4,937.34 is my estimate.

This is using the absolute worse junk parts known to man or woman, forced illegal alian labor camp children, and no guidance whatsoever.
