You are in Montrose for a week.....hmmmmm....have Mike meet you in Montrose and run Die Trying and Calamity Canyon! Shit, you are only about 10 miles from some hardcore trails.

this is my family vacation and after busting two birfield and fawkin up some axles [the last two times out]i am just planning on some nice easy trail riding in colorado. besides it hot in montrose, i don't want to go below 8000' for at least 8 or 10 days. i will have my wife, 3 kids ad the dog with us. yea i am pussin on the montrose trails. i am not bringing enough spare parts. 38.5s and birfields are just not that great. we will be in silverton at south mineral camp grounds from the 20th to the 30th. then head to moab. i don't care if i tear my shit up in moab, i am putting in a set of rockwells after that. i will be in a 88 land cruiser[yea the big wagon] with the top cut off and no doors. painted grey,white and black. will also have my buddie jai bird with us, he will be in a white zook with a black exo cage. should be in moab on the first. want to hit the heldorados this year. mike

Are you kidding me?! Half the population in that corner of the state is from Texas in the summertime! Then when winter hits Y'all think you know how to ski and come back.:flipoff2: Seriously though that is a hot place to be in right now. Silverton will definitely give you some relief from the heat and I'll guarantee you'll run into Texans there coming up from Durango on the train.
