: Narrow a tailgate

I'm looking for pictures and ideas on narrowing a 79 F-150 tailgate to fit a 74 Early Bronco.

No pics.... Sorry.

But why cant you take a shit load of measurements, from the bronco? Then proceed to de-skin the f-150 tail gate. Trim accordingly and re-skin the outers?

That was what I was going to do with measuring and cutting. I just wanted to see if anyone had advice or ideas on it.

Wrong body style... 67-72 matches an early bronco.

ive narrowed a few tailgates. easy.


cut out 2 even amounts on both sides, cut the rods and reweld them. weld it :D

whats the problem? i even cut around the ford stamps to keep it from being a O R :D
