A 4x4 buddy of mine is stuck in Phoenix while traveling. He's gonna rent a 4x4 and hang out around there. Where's some good places to play? Keep in mind its a rental, so we probably outta keep him off the narly trails.

Tell him to head on out the Beeline highway, past the Sagauro lake turnoff. Go either to the four peaks area (next right past Sag. lake turnoff)or Sycamore (opposite side of highway, past Sag. lake turnoff)

If he has access to a computer have him check out the Arizona Virtual Jeep Club. Here's the link. AVJC (http://www.azvjc.org/interact.asp)

There state wide and have runs almost every weekend

The next left after the Bush Highway is the road down to Sycamore Creek area. Or check the Toyota board for our weekend plans. It won't be doable in a stock rig, but it will be fun to hang out and watch. There are also other roads to play on in that area (Florence Junction).

Everybodys pretty much covered the stock stuff. I'd be tempted to go down to florence and hang out. Be fun to watch if people are out and you can always hit the coke ovens. I dont know most of the easier trails round phx Im from Tucson.
