BFG will more than likely not be out to any rock sport events, MAXXIS has and will be at the CORR events, that fall on the same weekends.

After CORR, W.E.ROCK is their next event series in line for attendance (according to Creighton). This the reason why we have to be careful in scheduling our events in 2009 around the CORR schedule.

It's just not the tire companies, but ALLIED Wheels and other sponsors pick CORR over anything else. The reason why, is the TV package and the number of spectators that CORR is able to draw.

I wish I had Baldwins check book to run W.E.ROCK, that would make a whole lot of difference.

Its not just the number of spectators and tv but those CORR trucks need new rubber and grooving for each race. They are just not as self sufficiant and us Rock Guys. At Maxxis we are by no means leaving the sport or abandoning our racers but unfortunantly untell I can figure out the time space continuem I can only be at one place at a time. Maxxis tires supports We-Rock and XRRA as well as racers with huge discounts and real contingency money. I welcome other tire companies to do the same for the good of the sport. I will be in Tenn in 10 days and look forward to hanging with the east coast crawlers it is always a blast.

Last year at Dayton, the Maxxis guys offered to loan me a spotter since mine couldnt make it. I ended up getting a guy from another team (I think their guy had a couple cocktails the night before and was running a little "late":D). Anyway, that whole team was super cool to hang with and it would suck if the couldnt make the events.

Cant say the same about the other tire manufacturer (the ones with out a huge ass support truck). They seemed a little "too kewl for sckool" to us.

Hope to see you and that ginormous truck at a couple events this year Creighton!
