The 700 in my 83 blazer died and I know later models use different tourqe converters but are the output splines all the same? I'd like to use a spare 89 turbo 700 that I have in the 83 but I want to make sure to will hook up to the old transfer case. I know I need the kit to make the new tranny lock up.

I believe all the outputs were 27 spline, should be okay.
