Im working on my 3rd location for hydro mounts. I dont like welding them straight to the tie rod or track bar, so Im now gonna use some mad 4wd clamps on 1.5 tubing. with the ford (88kp) 60, its really tight to mount a ram to the tie rod with radius arm caps, track bar mount and drag link.

Anyone have some ingenous ways they resolved their issues?

how much strain would be placed on the gearbox and frame horn if i mount to the drag link instead. With the SAS, Im already concerned about taxing the crumply zone.

version 2 mount at tie rod below, the trackbar mount got moved tot he trackbar mount from the track bar

the spot its in works, i would make the fixed end mount to the diff cover and the tie rod side mounted in front of the trac bar mount.
