I am not a newbie so do not give me a ration of shit, just give me some ideas please.
Anyone have some idea what would cause surging at idle? just started doing this, and have not had a chance to start looking into it. I am not familliar with the 4.7 engines. Surging around 3-4 hundred RPM up and down. When it is in gear it is not very noticable until you put it in neutral. Thanks guy's

my 2000 did that. I replaced the IAC and no more surging.

thank you. I will have to look into that. I had a TBI chev that had the same issue and as I recall that fixed it as well.
