Got some solid race feedback on the bumps..
Robby Woolworth decided to try our bumpstops on his race truck for the SNORE Caliente race. Here's his message to me afterwards....

"Thanks for the bumpstops. They worked awesome. We took 2nd place in caliente. We had a flawless day. I changed classes at the last minute and raced 7 open because some guy called me out. The bumpstops had no issues. They worked great and I beat the heck out of them. Check out my page and look at my pics under the caliente album. I have some pics of them on the truck. Thanks again FOA."

Here's the pic and comments from his MySpace page..

Got this this morning...just thought I'de post for the guys that ask about feedback.

Hey FOA, we just finished our first race on your shocks ,they appear to have held up well. We run a 5000lb class 8 truck and we beat the hell out of them for 250+miles . So far so good, I will keep you posted. Mike Taylor, Gold Hill Oregon

He runs our 18" remote res shocks.

Any plans for a teflon stricker? How much noise do the metal ones make?

I'm interested in them, but wonder how they would do for a street driven prerunner. I'd hate listen to clack clack clack all the time.

I ordered some up a few weeks ago for my tuff truck I am building with the random parts I have on the shelves. Look forward to testing these out.

It's a possibility...though it would affect the price. We are discussing it....I'de say it'll be awhile though, we can hardly keep up with them as is. The last pre-runner I saw with them put a poly strike pad on the axle instead.
If you are "clack, clack, clack"ing on the street....you should probably re-adjust.

Looks good, but I think it might blend in too much. I like mine to stand out:smokin:

Any progress on the bypasses?

I dunno stealth would be kinda cool too. So what's the scoop chris? Are all shocks black now, inlcuding coilovers, can we still get raw Al? I'd like the rears to match the fronts....but would order black if I had the choice.

No, the black was a "one-off" set for a customer. We've had enough good feedback on the look that we'll probably offer it as an option soon though. Figure around $25 per shock extra.
