Does anybody know what each color wire is. I am trying to put in a Pioneer CD Player and do not know what each color of the factory radio wire is.

if you have not cut it yet go to pepboys and get an adapter that just plugs in to the factory harness it will thene tell what each color is and what it does. <IMG SRC="smilies/jeep2.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

If you can't find an adapter it's not too hard to figure out which wire is what with a multi-meter. You may have to pull out each speaker to see what color the wires are. Crutchfield or Radio Shack should have adapters too.

It's pretty easy to figure out. Use a 9V battery to find out front/rear/left/right speaker... they will make that POW when you have two good wire. Then you'll have the antenna wire (kind of easy to find) the big 12V and small 12V.. Don't mess with this two last, I have already swicth them, and I have to reprogram my radio everytime I switch off the truck.
