a buddy of mine is in the process of a front axle swap (d44 with disks and locker for d30 with drums) and I got a new master cylinder and proportioning valve to compensate for the new front brake set up. The problem is the new master cylinder has a push rod depth that is about 1/2" deeper than stock. (no power brakes) Can I just fill in the extra depth with the right size metal tube or somethng or do I need to have my original pushrod from the brake pedal machined and lengthened?
