i have 60s to put in my 00 sahara.
the front is a ball joint out of a 79 f 350 sw.

will i have enough room on the driverside to mount
my tj brackets? i'm thinking of maybe upgrading
my 8" rock ready lift to the king coilovers skyjacker sells.

any thoughts?

You need to doublecheck th year of that D60. On 78-79 models they were King pin style not Ball joint.

Nos the quesiton is.. did that used Leaf Springs or Coils? If Leafs then the answer is YES. Else.. then it is a "Nope"

No need to check the year just look and see if it has ball joints or kingpins. It is obvious from looking. The 79 Ford also has more tube on the driverside so they are prefered for your application.

it definitley has ball joints. no mistaking that.

i looked at a kingpin ford 60 sunday and it had
a lot more room between the pumpkin and the driverside
inner knuckle than mine.

at the rate i'm going, i may just hold out and do the king coilover
upgrade to my lift.

I just bought a set of axles from a 77 F250 h/d. Axles are D44hd(thicker tubes,bigger hubs, and a D60ff). Leafs front and rear

Will I have enough room? I think I am gonna use the Poly 3 link front kit, with the T&T lower spring mount/shock stud here-http://www.gotreks.com/page.asp?pageid=128 Nice deal - 2 for 70 bucks, no bar pins at the bottom

Think I will have to modify the driver bracket

The shorter sided dana 60's will work. I have an 88 KP with standard coils and shocks. It requires a little more effort but not bad.
