The cleanup went well. Lots of bypasses got blocked, and we marked the hell out of illegal areas for the USFS. They will be touring the area on Tuesday with state reps, so they were VERY happy with all the work performed. Pictures and story will be up soon.

Lance...
something Glen Bonner told me I should pass onto you. I worked cleaning up trash in the same area i did last year, the meadow at the back of the slabs and this year there was less trash to be found

Every one seemed to keep things cleaner this year at the Sluice.

I walked most of the way back from spider lake to Loon lake on the way out and found very little trash.

Good work on th bypasses.

The bypasses looked great on the way out.

I noticed alot less turds and TP around Spider than last year,... but still way too many, and too many turds and tampons too close to the water.

Since water quality of spider is or will become an issue we need to educate folks that it is *not* OK to crap right next to the lake.

I hate signs,... but Maybe a sign by the executive shitter?

My hats off to the Pirates for taking this on. It was nice to participate in such a worthy cause. Everyone was having a great time.

"Executive Shitter" LOL.

The "Chrome Thrones" Randii and I built for last year's cleanup looked like they were still in good shape. In fact, the one by Winter Camp is still PERFECT!
I didn't "check out" the one by Ellis as closely though...

This was my first time on the 'Con since 1983 and I had a blast. Special thanks to Mike with the Blue YJ who let me ride shotgun up to the Sluice and back. Also, special thanks to the other Mike who gave me a ride back home when it was all said and done. Big Rich, it was a pleasure meeting you and Bob Roggy. Hope to get your help with building my K5 soon. Mike Overmeyer, I will be taking up your invite to come to your house soon to shoot the breeze with you. Thanks. And finally, to all of the people who conquered the Little Sluice, you absolutely rule. I hope to see all of you on the next POR run at the 'Con.

I wanted to thank the Pirates and the rest of the folks on the trail, especially Flashlight Man. I had a great weekend and everyone was extremely helpful in my passing of the trail.

P.S. I was the big guy dumb enough to bring a stock Wrangler on the 'con. Oh yeah, NO DAMAGE or BREAKAGE.
