not enough psi, you need an a/c pump min.

It might put out 5-10 psi. Not quite enough.

I was thinking about doing this using my stock a/c on my tj. Will that put out enough psi?

If you could figure out a way to keep oil in it

This type of pump will work but you need to ad an extrenal oiler on the intake among other things, auto pressure cut off switch, pressure relief valve, storage tank and fittings. Or use the older YORK with a crankcase.

I use the stock compressor on my 94 YJ and it works great. Not as good as a York but good enough.

PSI yes though stay out of the Tank Trap with it. Bad for longevity And boy are they spendy to replace.

Yes I did it. It works fine. You just have to oil it before each trip and after airing up 4 tires. Occassionally during Air tool useage.

I carry a bottle of Sears Airtool oil with me and just squirt some in each time. No problems yet... Unless you count the compressor I seazed up from sandblasting with it. We were using it for about 20 minutes at 3000 rpms when it gave up. Guess that was just a bit too long without oiling it. No problem 75 bucks and i bought another compressor from a junk yard. Back in business and no problems again.
