We dont get that particular model over here. The only pickups we get are based off of the Ford Ranger, so youre not going to get much help here. Your best bet is to post up at outerlimits4x4.com
They can probably help you.

Is that truck based off the ranger? Do you have the SLA/Torsion bar front end? If it is, it's not "too" much work to switch to 4x4 if you get a manual transfer case so you don't have to deal with the wiring for the electric shift. There's also an additional front diff mount you will have to fabricate for the front diff that's only found on the 4x4 frames. Other than that it's just a parts swap fest.
Most of the time when this question comes up, unless you're going SAS, it's simply not worth the hassle to convert.
My advice, trade it and get a 4x4.

One thing I would do is find a stock 4x4 and look to see what differences there are. Take pics. Since auto manufactures build in such masses, most of the parts will be the same or if different bolt on. Any extra hole that might be needed is usually marked clearly, any weld on bracket is usually there. Good luck down under...:smokin:

Thanks for all the responses
The major reason i havent sold my ute and bought a stock 4wd is that i can buy all the parts needed for under $2000 where as the stock version is $9000 dearer and I already own a Suzuki Sierra with a SR20 DET 2.0 L in it, trying to look at it as a challenge. HA HA HA. Trying to find out what else they call the Triton in the states.
