Well, I'm not done guys and gals. So, I won't be there this weekend. I was very sick yesterday and today so I didn't get much done. It's cause I worked on this pig for about 10 hours a day for the three days before yesterday.

Anyway, here's a pic of where it's at so far. The wheel base is right at 111 5/8". That's 11 5/8" longer than it was before. All I need to make are the drivelines (36" front and 37.5 rear) and upper links.

Yeah, I don't think finishing it tomorrow is in the card. Nellie won't let me work on it much until I start feeling better. I do hope to go to the High Lake this Sunday or Monday to test the new suspension. Cause I'm going to the Con on the 29th, go through to the Springs, meet up with some guys and turn around and head back out to Loon. Should be an awesome trip except the part where I have to do the first run through by myself.

Anyone up to doing this type of run on the 29, 30 and 31?

Your Scout sure has come a long way since last year...The rear axle looks a little too far back IMO. But, it's not like you have fenders to worry about.:D Good luck on the build up and I hope you feel better soon.

BTW, next weekend is the Jeepers Jambo...They are starting to set up for in on Monday and will be up there for most of the week and next weekend. Heard that they had over 1000 participants too:eek:

Dude you have no idea :( I do put down plywood for a "floor" under the Scout, but it gets hard to move things around like the hoist. I've done two motor swaps on my "driveway" and use the hoist to put in the tranny, which I've done too many times ;)

Yeah the axle is back a lot. I kinda don't like the way it looks, but it will work :D I plan on putting some body back onto it to fill in the gap between the front of the rear wheel well and the tire to make it look a little better.

The Jambo is done on Monday the 29. I'm going to go in through Loon to meet up with some guys at the Springs who work for the Jambo cook crew. We'll then turn around and come out Loon. I'll probably head in Sunday and be at the Springs Monday. Then turn around and be out Wednesday. It's gonna be a long trip :D

I've told you Mark, drag it over here and do it in my nice, warm, smooth floored garage... ;) I'll even sweep it for ya!! ;)

That's where I was at last night, around 10pm. Nice smooth floor to lay on. Lots of nice bright halogen lights around... ;)
