I received my 2006-2010 SCORE rule book in the mail the other day and started thumbing my way though the classes looking for the "prerunner" class similar to MDR 1400/1450 and didnt have any luck finding it. Is there not a class for SCORE?

I was pretty bummed to not be able to find it as I am in the middle of a Toyota build that puts the truck out of the 7 class since my arms are 4.5 wider and I am putting together a small block chevy for it. The plans are to race but due to the logistics of getting to a race from Alaska it would have to a big one, ie the 1000.

No prerunner class in SCORE, you have to race class 15, sportsman.

Any idea why there isnt a listing in the SCORE rule book for class 15?

Dunno, my best guess is that you can run anything you want as long as it meets the general safety guidlines, so they probably just didn't feel a need to include it. I would call SCORE and ask.

Talked to Bill Savarage at SCORE and he said it is pretty open. So I am going to continue going with MDR rules.
