Bitchin car for sure, but the only way that thing is going to sell through the PBB is if one of these broke dicks tells a rich friend about it. I would think this would be a perfect candidate for auction.

Good luck.

Exactly. The PBB is the most hit off road site in the World, and Earth, and I think The Universe too. So I figured someone may know someone who knows someone who needs to own this car. By the way, it was at Mecum Auto Auction this past weekend but a Raven Black '69 Boss 9 stole the show because of the rarity and desirability of it's color.

I don't think so. A black Boss 9 sold for 275k at Mecum in IL last week. In January of this year a Boss 9 sold for 360k (a year earlier it sold for 660k, the market is slipping). There is a red Boss 9 up for sale now at 350k.

Chem, I'll pass your info on to a buddy who is on the hunt.

Yep, the Mecum one was Raven Black, had more miles, and was not as clean, especially in the engine bay. Thank you for pointing that out. This is just an honest sale; no gouging involved. The motivation for selling now is to let someone else enjoy owning this car. There's a GT350H rebuild in progress right now, and a few other Mustangs in the stable waiting patiently for some undivided attention.

Also, thanks for passing the info along. Let me know if you need any more detailed information.

Its not "original or unrestored" if it has been painted. What documentation do you have on the paint work, and engine/trans work that has been done?

... he owns a blue 67 shelby gt 500 k code
Just for reference; in Ford engine-code-speak, a 67 GT500 would be a "Q" code engine (428 PI) -- the "K" code was for the Hi-Po 289 (GT350). The Shelby serial numbers used a "2" for the 289 and a "4" for the 428.

Chem - badass car, hope you find a buyer :smokin:
