If your talking about a D60 in a PS using a Sky RS kit and SD springs..95-97 then yes. I came up with that mod and can help.
Ride is as good or better than a SD...if done correctly.

What vehicle are we talking about here? I know it will work on an 85 Escort.

:confused:Good Gawd, how could a full stack off a SD flex and ride well????

Why Sky? Just use stock F250 shackle mounts and flip them, much less expensive if gotten from a wrecking yard. And why not get you some F150 springs that are 5/16" thick and flex???

Lets get the terms right first...so everyone is on the same page.

Shackle reversal - front axle, relocating the shackle from the front, to the rear of the leafsprings.

Shackle flip - rear axle, moving the shackle from tension (mounts to leaf at the top), to compression (mounts to leaf at the bottom).

Both will improve the ride quality, the shackle flip will in turn lose payload however. The shackle reversal should give you 3-5" lift depending on the kit you go with. The shackle flip is about 4" + 1" if you use a zero rate.

Icon and Deavers can do pretty well (on a heavy truck like that)....with the sway bars removed.

I guess I am assuming he is putting SD springs on a half ton or Bronco. The original poster needs to tell us what he is trying to do a shackle flip on????

Sorry about my goof on the shackle flip vrs shackle reversal...sometimes I just read posts to fast and don't pay proper attention.
Running 35" on a 94-97 on the rear is easy plenty of clearance with just a F350 rear 4" stock block. Adding SD rear springs will help the ride in back.

Stand by my statement on a RS kit on the front.

I have the ORD kit and SD springs, I run 33's and I think 35's would hit the rear of the fender when turning.

I know Caryt was the first to post about SD springs on thedieselstop.com before the name change.

I ran 35" in the front with a ORU RS kit and stock v codes..I now have 4" Icon's in the front in lieu of the V's and 37" No problems with the tire clearances with either combo.
