I have a built dana 44 from a 78 bronco and the plans changed so now iam going to run leafs instead of coils.I was wondering if anyone has used this axle with the cast wedges in a leaf spring set up. Or are the widths the same between it and a f-250 dana 44? That way i could get one of the f-250 housings and swap over my gears, locker , and cromo shafts , knuckles out etc.

p;s before u start telling me to get 60's and 4 link etc its in the works but the 44 is going in temporarily so i can get drivin again :flipoff2:

Mr N's site has all of the axle lengths, a pre 78 1/2 ton housing with the welded wedges may be an option also.
