Hi everyone. I'm swapping a D44 from a F150 1978 into my jeep wrangler, so i'm rebuilding it. The thing is that in Chile (where i live) there's no spare parts like the spindle bearing or the inner axle seal. Why? because stores say it not Chevy......... Do you know if chevy and ford inner seal and spindle bearing are compatible? are the same? what else can i put to fit in?
thanks a lot.

78 ford 150 is not a good axle for your jeep.. it has cast in wedges that are week and you cannot remove them.
And no, the chevy is different than the ford. some parts will interchange, but not all

Complete offroad will be able to help you too, I am more than sure they would ship down to Chile if you explained the reasons behind it. If you can, order a bunch!
